The problem
Redpath Sugar is Canada’s oldest food brand.
In the recent past there had been little communication between the brand and consumers. A changing urban environment meant that the plant was becoming surrounded by residential condo developments; changing market environments meant that other sugar brands were increasing their visibility to consumers.
The solution
We decided on a two prong approach. We’re engaging consumers through the Redpath Acts of Sweetness program, online and offline, while at the same time busting sugar myths in a print campaign aimed at food professionals. In addition, we updated the Redpath Sugar website in a way that integrates community created content, keeping it always fresh at minimum cost.
